Mauro Icardi wants to join Juventus, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The Argentinean striker is set to leave Inter at the end of the season and despite the interest of Psg and Atletico Madrid, his desire is to move to Turin.

Inter’s board, however, is not willing to let him join their historic rivals. Icardi has a € 110 million release clause which is only valid for clubs outside Serie A. Inter, however, could be open to selling their ex captain for about € 80 million, a fee that Juve are not open to investing.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marotta only wants to negotiate Icardi’s transfer with Andrea Agnelli and Juve are not open to including Paulo Dybala in a swap deal while Inter are not interested in Gonzalo Higuain.

Meantime the Nerazzurri are also thinking about Icardi’s possible replacemens: the likes of Edin Dzeko (Roma), Duvan Zapata (Atalanta), Timo Werner (Leipzig), Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez (Manchester United) and Federico Chiesa (Fiorentina) have all been monitored by the Serie A giants with Dzeko who is currently the leading candidate to replace Icardi.
