Revealed: The two players Gasperini would bring with him from Atalanta to Roma | English News

Gian Piero Gasperini’s name is in the headlines at the moment, the Italian head coach being highly coveted by a number of clubs after a phenomenal season with the modest squad at Atalanta. Gasperini was unlucky to fall to a Coppa Italia final defeat to Lazio, with Inzaghi’s side lifting the trophy after a 2-0 win.

The latest reports from Leggo suggest that Gasperini is a top target for Roma over the summer, who are looking for someone to replace Claudio Ranieri, who took over the club on a short-term contract after the sacking of Eusebio Di Francesco.

However, Leggo reports that if Gasperini joined Roma, he would want to bring two players with him from the Bergamo side. These two players are midfielder Marten de Roon and central defender Gianluca Mancini; both of whom Gasperini would want if he took a role at the Giallorossi.
