Inter Milan have reportedly decided to sell their star striker Mauro Icardi at the end of the ongoing campaign, despite the Argentine’s wish to remain at the club and give it another go.
Icardi had a big fall out with the manager Luciano Spalletti during the season and subsequently had to sit on the bench for a considerable amount of time.
Now, it seems that the club hierarchy have decided to part ways with their prolific striker, more so because of disciplinary issues. It is being reported the Argentina international is ready to fight it out and stay at the club but for Inter, his chapter is all but over.
Icardi has represented the Nerazzurri 23 times in the league campaign this season, where he has scored 10 goals and provided four assists. After being their favourite player, he has now burnt his bridges.
