Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has praised Stefano Sturaro and has said that if Juve had to lose, it was better to lose by a goal from their former midfielder.

Sturaro left Juve this past January for a fee of 16.5 million euros and has impressed for Genoa since then. The goal against Juventus today was an icing on the cake.

After the game, Allegri was talking to Sky Sports about the midfielder and he said: “I’m happy for him, he suffered a lot from the tendon problems. If we had to lose, it was better to lose with his goal.”
