Liverpool players returned home to Merseyside today in a celebratory fashion, less than a day after the club’s UEFA Champions League final win.

The Reds were handed a second-minute penalty which Mohamed Salah slotted home to hand them a lead. Late in the game, Divock Origi scored a second to hand Liverpool their sixth UEFA Champions League crown.

The players returned home and the trophy parade took place, as the trophy was taken around the city.
