Premier League giants Manchester City are reportedly set to blow AC Milan out of the water in their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes.

The 24-year-old Portuguese star has been in very impressive form for Sporting this season, scoring as many as 31 goals for the club. Man United and Man City have been linked with a move, along with AC Milan.

Goal.com though now state that City are close to sealing the deal for Fernandes and that will deal a blow to Milan, who were hoping to tie up a deal for the Portuguese star.
