In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, Lazio president Claudio Lotito spoke about the fact that Igli Tare (his sporting director) decided to reject AC Milan’s approach earlier this month.

“Tare preferred to stay? Logical choice. Right now, Lazio is a more structured club than AC Milan. Furthermore, the work needed there will always be tougher,” he stated.
