English Premier League giants Manchester United are in a pole position to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, as per Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

The 24-year-old is being heavily linked with a move away from Primeira Liga and has attracted interest from numerous European clubs including Serie A giants Juventus.

However, according to new developments, United are closing in on the signature of the Portugal international who is likely to cost the Red Devils €78 million despite a € 100 million clause included in his contract.
