Marcello Lippi spoke to the press during the Italian hall of fame ceremony (via Calciomercato.com), here is what he had to say about Ronaldo: ‘ He played well this season but the diffrence is that he didn’t win the UCL. Italian football is much harder so I think he did very well overall. Barzagli? If he retires there won’t be anymore of the great 2006 players in activity other than Buffon…’. More to come…
