Mauricio Pochettino believes Tottenham’s “belief” and “confidence” gives them a chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
Tottenham are currently fourth in the Premier League table on 64 points, with Chelsea two ahead having played a game more.
Arsenal are one point behind in fifth and Manchester United are a further two points off the pace in sixth, with Pochettino suggesting Spurs are not “favourites”.
He does however feels Tottenham “are above” their rivals in terms of “belief” and “confidence”.
“Watching the past few years, I don’t believe we are favourites,” he said.
“I think we are below them, but in our belief and our confidence maybe we are above them. We trust in ourselves and we are confident we are going to get into the top four.
“Of course it is going to be tough and it’s so exciting and amazing for everyone, for us not so much.”
