The manager of Bayern Munich, Niko Kovac, wanted to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter. However, then the management stepped in to block the deal, which thus never materialized.
According to Bild, the manager had requested the player, though his ideas were stopped by the veto of Karl-Heinz Rummenigg and Hasan Salihamidzic, who deemed the winger ‘not good enough’ for the role.
