Serie A giants AC Milan have made contact to sign Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes.
Gedson impressed for the Portuguese Under-20s side in the recent Under-20s FIFA World Cup as he played regularly in the midfield. He has previously been linked with Manchester City.
Sky Italia claim that Milan won’t stop with the signing of Ismael Bennacer and have made an enquiry for Gedson. They have only discussed the feasibility of the deal.
Gedson, 20, appeared 22 times in the Portuguese league this past season.
