Solskjaer reveals how Man Utd squad reacted to PSG loss

Date published: Friday 15th February 2019 3:43

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits his Manchester United players have “been down” following their 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.

The defeat in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash was their first in 12 matches under Solskjaer, winning ten and drawing one of the previous 11 fixtures.

On how the week has been after losing to PSG, Solskjaer said: “Been back home actually, been to Norway, nice to see the family but it’s a different feel of course.

“I hate losing games, the boys hate it, they’ve been down but there’s no point dwelling on it, there’s big games on good teams coming up and we need to dust ourselves down.

“You’ve got to bounce back at this club, always have challenges and away against Chelsea is tough. Let’s make sure the next two days in training we’re ready on Monday.

“We know there was a spell against PSG, 7,8 10 mins we lost our way apart from that we weren’t too bad.”
