Zinedine Zidane returning to Real Madrid – report

Zinedine Zidane is set to return to Real Madrid, with reports suggesting the Frenchman could taken training on Tuesday.
Zidane stepped down as Real boss at the end of last season after guiding the club to three successive Champions League titles.
Since his exit, under Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, Real have failed to keep pace with Barcelona in La Liga, while their Champions League crown was surrendered after a second-leg 4-1 home defeat to Ajax in the last 16.
Reports last week suggested Jose Mourinho could takeover on a caretaker basis with Zidane preferring a return in the summer.
But La Sexta on El Chiringuito de Jugones is reporting that the 46-year-old is set to return as a permanent appointment with an announcement likely to come in the coming days.
If Zidane does go back then I’m not sure we can entirely rule out Real Madrid for this year’s Champions League
